My main goal with Avalista or the original iteration of the Passion Project Program was to help people make money online doing something that they enjoy. This later turned into the Content Monetization program that was never properly built out. Avalista contains both of these concepts, except much more niche. I want this to be the program to END all programs for content creators.
The problem with a majority of content creators is that they do not have the necessary skills, experience, or knowledge to make powerful content. They do not know how to achieve and attain the content creator lifestyle that they are desiring. Moreover, they have this vision for where they want to go, for setting up a blog, YouTube channel, a Podcast, and being present on ALL social media platforms.
They do not, however, have a good depth of understanding as digital marketers. For those content creators, they probably never gave it a second thought to become a digital marketer, because they don’t perceive themselves as that.
The Avalista Academy (as it stands right now) will contain the Agency Marketer Acceleration Program (AMAP) and also a content creator resources hub. The idea is that driven and ambitious creators who want to be part of the creative academy will be able to make their content and grow their seeds into trees while working full-time jobs at marketing agencies.
Marketing agencies (at least in the U.S.) tend to be quite flexible with their hours and the amount of work that you need to get done. You get weekends off, more than anything you get to learn valuable skills as a content creator.
Top problems that content creators run into include but are not limited to...
Build something meaningful OVER TIME. Listen, content is not a short term sprint. It was 10 or even 5 years ago, but now more than ever, with the advent of COVID-19 and many people having more time at home to produce content, your content needs to be high-quality and consistently produced.
The algorithm will continue to prioritize reknown content creators who have spent more time than you on the platforms. The reason for this has to do fundamentally with the way that content platforms make money: they need to keep the viewer on the platform as LONG as possible.
In a saturated marketplace, becoming a full-time content creator that is making a decent income online is becoming harder and harder.
The solution? Attain an excellent remote Full-Time job while creating content on the side. Specifically, a job at a full-time digital marketing AGENCY.
What does this look like for you?
This could mean getting a job at an agency that is near you OR is across the globe, the beauty is that you can work from anywhere. While you’re working your agency job you can spend your spare time creating valuable content long-term.
Why does this work?
